A dreamy waterside Fritz Farm Wedding | Anna & Alain

Baie-d'Urfe Fritz Farm wedding, Montreal bride and groom portrait

I’m scanning through this Fritz Farm wedding collection and images flash by quickly, one and onto the next, going through everything has been kind of emotional… I feel everything from that day at the Fritz Farm again. Thinking about how some people in your family keep in touch, some don’t, sometimes there are great distances, a wedding is reunion, often a beautiful one, and everything was right that evening. At the Fritz reception venue that evening Anna’s sister sang, the microphone broke, the lazy smoke floating still in the air, excellent excellent wine at their Fritz Farm Wedding. I’ve gotten two chances to spend time with this family and honestly, they’re truly beautiful. PS. Do check the image of groom's shoes below to understand where I'm coming from. As a wedding photographer these shoes got my attention all day.

Think gorgeous backdrops, rustic romance unfold in Baie d'Urfé, pure magic.

Hearing about the way they Anna & Alain came together, her trips and life in the Yukon, Alain’s birthday proposal dinner at Bouley in New York (Alain bought everyone a glass of Champagne while she was in the washroom, once she came out and sat back into her seat he stood up to come around to her and on one bended knee to propose.) Anna painted and designed her watercolour wedding invitations by hand, the list of wonderful things is long. From Anna, “the touching speeches from our mothers and best friends, the ceremony - our vows, the wonderful attendees, including our girls and how well behaved and lovingly my mother and father got along after 20 years of holding on to their grudges.. the day was beautiful and filled with an abundance of love that I will never forget.”

The feel of this song 100% is on-point for this Fritz Farm Wedding. Hit it and just Let it play :)

This Fritz Farm wedding was gold from start to finish. Creating this post and being a part of weddings like makes me a happy photographer and another reason why I still love documenting weddings.
