Hotel Vogue Wedding Videography | Dana & Hussam

I had never filmed a wedding before this day. I had never actually done any video work before showing up to meet Dana and Hussam's friends and family that afternoon in downtown Montreal, at the Vogue Hotel. To be honest, I should have started doing this years ago. Dana would move through the room with such an excited energy it was truly a gift to watch, and seeing things through the video viewfinder for the first time was quite a different experience than I'm used too, but also really exciting. I loved the way Dana would look right through the camera without an inch of hesitation. She definatly owned it, all day.

Take a minute to check out this short teaser I prepared for Dana and Hussam, both the warmest and best kind of people you'd want to spend time with. Together they completely trusted me when I wasn't sure I believed in myself actually, and for this I am so thankful for having the opportunity to make this Montreal wedding video for Dana and Hussam.

A few words from Dana ~ "I don't know where to start. I love photographs and didn't know where to start looking for our wedding photographer. I want someone who could capture what I want without telling him what to do, and from the moment I first met Micheal I was filled with confidence & his photographs speak for themselves....Just Fab..!!!. Micheal was always by our side, always available, and most importantly, listen for what you want. Micheal was extremely professional from first meeting (always on time), run up to the wedding, on the day and to receiving our beautiful photographs. In the nicest possibly way we hardly saw him on our day yet he captured the most beautiful photos. It was as if he was in the front row seat for capturing the images he did yet we were totally unaware of him being there.

I'd highly recommended Micheal to everyone as their wedding photographer. If you want a classy, Fab photos, to remember with joy. One choice MIcheal Beaulieu. Me and my husband don't like posing for photos and not once did we have to do this. Micheal just told us to enjoy our day and he would capture it as it unfolded....and wow he certainly did and much more.”

Thank you again Micheal, from a very happy Mr & Mrs Khalil

I'll be taking on more work as a videographer for adventure sessions, elopements, and very intimate weddings. If you are looking for a Montreal wedding film maker for your own upcoming event be sure to get in touch and share your story with me.

PS - good news, as of 2023 I’m offering couples the dreamy video option and it’s soooo good. Check out this page to learn more about how I setup and shoot these sessions, and send me a message for availability. It’s 120 fantastic, and I honestly don;t know why I didn't;t start shooting video with couples, for enagements, adventure session films, and off beat weddings. I love it, and hope you’ll love it too.
